As we all know Coronavirus is becoming more dangerous day by day. This was the secound time when Prime Minister Modi is going to address to countrymen. Today government is going to take all the nesseary measures to stop coronavirus spreading. After China Italy become the secound country who hit very badly due to this virus. Right now Italy has largest number of deaths. Nearly 6000 and above people were killed due to this virus. When we talk about India it had very least number of infected cases and number of deaths. The measures point included in his first speech is, “He underlined the importance of social distancing, asking media to generate awareness about its importance, inform people about the lockdown decision by states, and also highlight the impact of the spread of the virus through the inclusion of international data and case studies about other countries in the papers,” said a statement issued by the PMO.
This is his second address to the nation on coronavirus within a week. In his last address on 19 March, the prime minister had advocated for a ‘Janata Curfew’ on 22 March.
Modi had asked people to show their appreciation for medical and essential workers by clapping for them at 5 pm for five minutes on 22 March.
People followed his call and came to their terraces and balconies in large numbers to salute the frontline warriors in India’s fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
